Getting started
Site Qwality is a comprehensive website monitoring service that provides real-time uptime monitoring, performance tracking, and alerting. We offer transparent, per-product pricing with all features available at every subscription level, unlike traditional monitoring services that restrict features based on pricing tiers.
Getting started is easy! Sign up for free. No credit card required. You can start monitoring immediately and explore all core features with our free tier.
Yes! Every product includes a free allocation: uptime monitoring, SSL checks, domain expiration reminders, keyword monitoring, cron monitoring, and more, all available without a credit card. It's perfect for individuals and small teams getting started.
Yes! We're happy to help you get set up and make the most of Site Qwality's features. Contact us if you need assistance with configuration, integrations, or have questions about best practices for monitoring your specific infrastructure.
Monitoring
Site Qwality provides comprehensive monitoring including: Uptime Monitoring (HTTP, TCP, ICMP, DNS checks on the schedule you set); Cron Job Monitoring (catch missed, late, or failed scheduled jobs); SSL/TLS Monitoring (certificate expiration and security monitoring); Domain Monitoring (registration expiry warnings, plus registrar, nameserver and registry hold-state alerts); Synthetic Monitoring (custom Playwright browser scripts on a schedule); Keyword Monitoring (detect content changes, hijacking, and fraud); and Page Speed Monitoring (Lighthouse audits and performance tracking).
Check frequencies are configurable per monitor. You can run checks as fast as every 30 seconds on critical endpoints and relax it elsewhere, right down to longer intervals where tight cadences aren't needed.
From a single region in the United States, AWS us-east-1. Checks from additional locations are on our roadmap and are not available today. The monitor configuration exposes a check-location field, but only the US East location is in service, so leave it as it is. We would rather tell you this than let you infer a network of probes we do not operate.
Keyword monitoring checks for specific words or phrases on your website to detect hijacking, unauthorized content changes, or malicious redirects. Features include: Positive & Negative matching (alert when text appears or disappears); Case-sensitivity (distinguish brand names from common words); and Regular expressions (detect patterns like email addresses, phone numbers, or complex content changes).
Cron job monitoring tracks your scheduled automated tasks to ensure they run as expected. It's essential for developers and DevOps teams who rely on scripts, backups, or data processing jobs. Site Qwality alerts you immediately if a cron job fails or doesn't run on schedule.
Synthetic monitoring runs real browser sessions to test your application from the user's perspective. You can write custom Playwright scripts that simulate real user flows (login, checkout, search), run checks at a frequency you configure, store screenshots and artifacts from every run for debugging, and trigger on-demand test runs to verify fixes or deployments immediately.
Yes. You can configure HTTP authentication, custom request headers, and whitelist our monitoring IP addresses to ensure comprehensive monitoring of all your web properties, including those behind firewalls or with geo-blocking.
Our checks originate from a fixed address in AWS us-east-1, so allowlisting is straightforward if your website has security restrictions or geo-blocking in place. Contact us for the current address.
Site Qwality is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Checks run from a single AWS region in the United States, us-east-1, and so does the rest of the platform. We are a single-region platform today and we say so on our Security page rather than implying redundancy we do not have.
Alerts & notifications
Site Qwality offers multiple notification channels: Email (instant alerts with detailed error information, all plans); SMS (10 free credits per month included, additional packs available); Slack, Telegram, Discord, and Microsoft Teams (direct integrations); and Webhooks (custom endpoints for automated workflows). All alerts include specific error codes and diagnostic information to help you resolve issues quickly.
A transient transport failure is retried in place, before any result is recorded, so a reset or a resolver hiccup that succeeds on the retry never reaches you at all. A response that genuinely fails is recorded as a failure.
Absolutely. You can set custom alert thresholds, choose notification methods, and configure time-based rules.
Our alerts include specific error codes, response times, and detailed diagnostic information so you can quickly identify and resolve issues without guesswork.
Billing & plans
Site Qwality uses modular, product-based pricing. Instead of fixed tiers, you pick the products you need (uptime monitoring, synthetic checks, telemetry, cron monitoring, incident management, SMS alerts, and status pages) and scale each independently. Every product includes a generous free allocation, so you can start without a credit card and only pay when you outgrow the free tier.
Each product has its own free allocation and paid tiers. See the full breakdown and interactive price calculator on our pricing page.
No setup fees and no long-term contracts required. Pricing is month-to-month or annual depending on what you choose, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any product at any time.
No. The free tier is free forever, no card required. You only add billing information when you bump a product to a paid tier.
Pay annually and save ~17% (effectively two months free). You can change your product mix at any time and credits roll over.
Yes. Reach out through the contact form and we'll work out a plan that fits an early-stage team.
We soft-cap at the next tier boundary and email you. No surprise bills: you opt into the bump or stay capped.
Platform features
Site Qwality's log management lets you centralize, search, and analyze your application logs in real-time. Key capabilities include: Log Explorer (full-text search with faceted filtering by service, level, host, and custom fields); Live Tail (stream logs in real-time with pause and resume); Saved Views (save filter combinations as named presets); and Log Parsers (define custom regex-based rules to extract structured fields from any log format).
Yes. Site Qwality supports distributed tracing with native OpenTelemetry (OTLP) ingestion. You can search traces by service, operation, duration, and status; view automatic service dependency maps; inspect individual spans with full attributes, events, and parent-child relationships; and identify error spans across your distributed system. Combined with logs and metrics, this gives you the complete observability stack in one platform.
Status pages let you communicate your service reliability through a branded, public-facing page. Features include custom domains (e.g., status.yourdomain.com), full branding (colors, logo, custom CSS), structured incident management with severity levels and timeline updates, maintenance announcements, and SLA tracking with uptime percentages and response time charts.
Maintenance windows let you silence alerts during planned work. You can create one-time or recurring windows with timezone-aware start and end times, target monitors by tag, and optionally display upcoming maintenance on your public status page. Alerts resume automatically when the window ends.
Site Qwality provides a complete incident management lifecycle: create incidents manually or automatically from monitor failures (with minor, major, or critical severity); track status from investigating through to resolved; see responder acknowledgements; auto-publish updates to your public status pages; and link incidents to specific services for automatic affected-service tracking.
Yes. Site Qwality includes full on-call scheduling (multi-layer rotations, timezone-aware handoffs, schedule overrides) and escalation policies (multi-level chains with configurable timeouts, automatic re-escalation if no one acknowledges). Each team member sets their own notification preferences (email, SMS, Slack DM) with separate rules for urgent vs low-urgency alerts.
Integrations & API
Yes. Our RESTful API is available to all paid plan users and lets you create, read, update, and delete monitors programmatically, integrate monitoring into deployment pipelines, and automate monitor management. See our API documentation for details.
Webhooks let you receive real-time notifications at custom endpoints. You can trigger automated responses, update status pages, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, or connect with tools like Zapier. Our webhook system includes retry logic and authentication for reliable delivery.
Absolutely. Our Slack integration delivers alerts directly to your team channels, enables incident management workflows, and supports automated incident creation. You can configure custom alert triggers and collaborate in real-time when issues arise.
Support
We provide live support to all paid plan users. You can reach us through our contact form and you'll get a response from the team that built the product, not a chatbot. Free plan users have access to our comprehensive documentation and self-service resources.
We aim to respond to all support inquiries as quickly as possible. Our commitment to exceptional service means you'll get real, personalized help from our team, not automated responses.
