Checks come from cloud address ranges that change, so there are no fixed IP addresses to allowlist. If a firewall or bot protection sits in front of your site, let our checks through in one of these ways:
- Add a secret custom header to the monitor and allow requests that carry it. This is the reliable option, because nobody else knows the value.
- Match our User-Agent,
site-qwality-check/1.0. It identifies our checks but is not a secret, so treat it as a hint rather than proof. - If the site’s bot protection still refuses a check, the result says Blocked by bot protection and counts as down. Checking from a location on another provider can help.
- The allowlisting guide walks through each step. If you need checks from a fixed address, contact us.
