A Hyperping alternative
with RUM, replay and traces.
Hyperping sells flat-priced uptime monitoring, status pages and on-call. Site Qwality prices each product separately and adds logs, metrics, traces, real user monitoring and session replay to the same account. Every Hyperping figure below comes from Hyperping’s own pages, checked October 17, 2026.
Hyperping is the simpler fit if you want uptime checks, a status page with a custom domain and on-call for a small team on one flat plan, and you do not need logs, traces, RUM or session replay. Site Qwality fits better if you want those in the same product, a free tier on every product (API and MCP access included), or you run a modest number of monitors at modest frequency. It is not always cheaper: for 100 monitors at one-minute checks, 30-second checks from several locations, or a small on-call team, Hyperping’s list price is lower (see the scenarios).

At a glance
- Hyperping pricing: flat plans with monitors and seats included. Free $0 (20 monitors, 5-minute checks). Essentials $29/mo, $290/yr (50 monitors, 3 seats, 30-second checks). Pro $89/mo (250 monitors, 10 seats). Business $299/mo (1,000 monitors, 20 seats, 20-second checks). Extra seats are $7, $9 or $12 a month by plan. Hyperping pricing.
- Site Qwality pricing: per product, by usage, with a free tier on each. Uptime is $15/mo for 500,000 checks at 30-second intervals, and one on-call responder is free. On both vendors a year costs ten times the monthly price.
- Where Hyperping is ahead: ICMP ping and TCP port checks, phone-call alerts, 20-second checks on Business, a custom-domain status page from $29/mo, seats and on-call schedules inside the plan price, and primary data stored in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Where Site Qwality is ahead: Hyperping’s AI-info page says it has no real user monitoring and no distributed tracing, and its logs are in alpha. Site Qwality has logs, metrics, traces, RUM and session replay, and its API and MCP server are on the free plan.
- Neither company holds its own SOC 2 or ISO 27001. Hyperping’s security page says its infrastructure providers hold them, and our security page says the same of AWS. Hyperping stores primary data in the EU. Site Qwality runs in one US region and has no EU option.
- Which is cheaper depends on the shape of your setup. Low check volume and no on-call favours Site Qwality. 100 monitors at one-minute checks, fast checks from several locations, or a small on-call team favour Hyperping. The scenarios below show the arithmetic.

When to stay with Hyperping.
Hyperping is a focused product. If your list looks like this, switching gains you little:
- You need uptime checks, a status page and on-call for a small team on one flat plan, and you do not need logs, traces, RUM or session replay. Essentials is $29/mo with 3 seats, a custom-domain status page and one on-call schedule.
- You need ICMP ping or TCP port checks. Hyperping includes both, even on its free plan. Site Qwality has no ping or port checks.
- You need EU data residency. Hyperping stores primary customer data in Frankfurt, Germany. Site Qwality runs in AWS us-east-1 and offers no EU deployment.
- You run many monitors at one-minute or faster intervals, or from several regions. Hyperping prices by monitor count and each check runs from one region in rotation. On Site Qwality each location counts as a check, so volume packs cost more at that shape.
- You want phone-call alerts, or an on-call team of several people included in the plan price. Hyperping places calls from escalation policies on paid plans and includes 3, 10 or 20 seats. Phone calls are not among our alert channels, and rotations need a responder pack.
- You need status page extras Hyperping lists on Pro: SMS subscribers (through your own Twilio account), private pages with email access codes, and multi-language pages. Site Qwality status page subscribers are email plus RSS and Atom feeds, and SMS subscribers are not available yet.
What it costs in practice.
List prices for nine setups, with the arithmetic shown. Hyperping is cheaper in several of them, and they are included.
| Setup | Site Qwality | Hyperping |
|---|---|---|
| 5 monitors, 5-minute interval, 1 location | $0. 5 × 8,640 = 43,200 checks a month, inside the 100,000 free | $0. The Free plan allows 20 monitors |
| 15 monitors, 5-minute interval, 1 location | $15/mo. 15 × 8,640 = 129,600 checks, over the 100,000 free, so the 500K pack | $0. The Free plan allows 20 monitors |
| 10 monitors, 1-minute interval, 1 location | $15/mo ($150/yr). 10 × 43,200 = 432,000 checks, inside the 500K pack | $29/mo ($290/yr), Essentials, because Free is 5-minute only. Also includes 3 seats, a custom-domain status page and on-call |
| 100 monitors, 5-minute interval, 1 location | $50/mo ($500/yr). 100 × 8,640 = 864,000 checks, so the 2M pack | $89/mo ($890/yr), Pro, because Essentials stops at 50 monitors. Also includes 10 seats and 3 status pages |
| 100 monitors, 1-minute interval, 1 location | $200/mo ($2,000/yr). 100 × 43,200 = 4,320,000 checks, so the 10M pack | $89/mo ($890/yr), Pro |
| 10 monitors, 30-second interval, 3 locations | $200/mo ($2,000/yr). 10 × 3 × 86,400 = 2,592,000 checks, over the 2M pack, so the 10M pack | $29/mo ($290/yr), Essentials. Hyperping prices by monitor count, so extra regions do not change the price |
| 10 monitors, 1-minute interval, 1 location, plus a 3-person on-call rotation | $65/mo ($650/yr). $15 for the 500K uptime pack plus $50 for the 25-responder pack | $29/mo ($290/yr), Essentials. 3 seats and 1 on-call schedule are included |
| 10 monitors, 1-minute interval, 1 location, plus 50 GB of logs a month | $65/mo ($650/yr). $15 for the 500K uptime pack plus $50 for the 50 GB telemetry pack (logs, metrics and traces, 15-day retention) | $40.25/mo. $29 plus 45 GB over the 5 GB included at $0.25/GB. Logs are in alpha and free until metered billing starts. Logs only, 30-day search |
| 10 monitors, 1-minute interval, 1 location, plus 100K RUM sessions and 1,000 session replays a month | $27/mo ($270/yr). $15 for the 500K uptime pack, $10 for 100K RUM Observe sessions and $2 for 1,000 replays | Uptime part is $29/mo (Essentials). RUM and session replay are not offered: its AI-info page says it has no RUM or frontend session capture |
Checks per month = monitors × locations × 43,200 ÷ interval in minutes (30-day month, 43,200 minutes). Site Qwality uses the pack prices on our pricing page. Hyperping uses its monthly list prices; annual billing is ten times the monthly price on both. Taxes, extra SMS credits and extra Hyperping seats are not included. The 3-person rotation fits Essentials’ 3 seats. Prices checked October 17, 2026.

Sometimes. Site Qwality is cheaper at low check volume without on-call: 100 monitors at 5-minute checks is $50/month against $89/month for Hyperping Pro (which also includes 10 seats, on-call and 3 status pages). Hyperping is cheaper when check volume is high (100 monitors at one-minute checks is $200/month on Site Qwality against $89/month), when you check from several locations at short intervals (each location counts as a check on Site Qwality), and when you need a multi-person on-call rotation (a 25-responder pack is $50/month on Site Qwality, while Hyperping Essentials at $29/month includes 3 seats). The cost scenarios above show the arithmetic for each case.
Yes. Hyperping Free is $0 with 20 monitors, 5-minute checks, 1 seat, one basic status page on a Hyperping domain and HTTP, port, ping and keyword checks, with no credit card. Its pricing page labels Free as for personal projects and trying out Hyperping. Its Terms of Service grant a licence for internal business purposes and say Free plan users are subject to the same Terms with reduced features and support, so a business can use it. Free accounts are excluded from its uptime commitment. Site Qwality’s uptime free tier is 100,000 checks a month at 5-minute intervals from one location, about 11 monitors, and every product has a free tier with no card.
As of October 17, 2026. Hyperping: Free (20 monitors, 5-minute checks), then Essentials at $29/month with 50 monitors, 30-second checks, 3 seats, a custom-domain status page and on-call. Better Stack: free for 10 monitors and heartbeats and 1 status page, then a responder licence at $34/month ($29 billed yearly), with monitors beyond the first 10 in blocks of 50 for $25/month, and separately priced telemetry, error tracking and session replay. UptimeRobot: free for 50 monitors at 5 minutes, Solo at $13/month for 10 monitors at 60 seconds, Team at $46/month for 100 monitors at 30 seconds. Better Stack’s free tier includes 5,000 session replays a month against 100 on ours. For the other two, see our Better Stack and UptimeRobot comparisons.
Hyperping’s pricing page lists logs as an alpha feature: Essentials, Pro and Business include 5, 20 and 50 GB a month with 30-day search, free until metered billing starts at $0.25 per GB. Its server agent reports host metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) with 2 to 30 days of history by plan. Its AI-info page, last updated September 26, 2026, describes the product as having no APM or distributed tracing and no real user monitoring or frontend session capture, and names other tools for those. Site Qwality includes logs, metrics, traces, RUM and session replay, each with its own free tier.
Hyperping checks from 18 regions, with probes on AWS, Scaleway and DigitalOcean. Each check runs from one region at a time, rotating through the regions you select, and a failure is rechecked from the others before an outage opens. Site Qwality offers 24 locations in 18 countries on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure for HTTP checks, and a run from three locations counts as three checks toward your volume. Browser, TLS, domain and DNS-record checks run from Virginia only. See our locations page.
Yes to both. Hyperping runs a hosted MCP server with 49 tools (28 read, 21 write), available on paid plans with a project-scoped API key that can be read-only. Site Qwality runs a hosted MCP server on every plan, including free. Assistants sign in over OAuth as the user, within the user’s own role, and headless agents can use a scoped API key. See our MCP server page.
Hyperping, a French company, says all primary customer data (databases, application servers, backups) is stored in DigitalOcean’s Frankfurt data center in Germany, while its probes run worldwide. Site Qwality stores everything in AWS us-east-1 and does not offer EU data residency. Neither company holds its own SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report. Hyperping’s security page (last updated February 19, 2026) says its providers hold them, and our security page says the same of AWS.
