Common Midjourney errors
| Error | What it means | Usually | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
Waiting to start | Your job is in the processing queue; long waits come from heavy demand, Relax mode or an outage, after which the queue can be cleared. | Heavy load | Wait, then cancel and resend the prompt if it stays stuck for a long time. Source |
Is it just you?
- Run /info (or check your account page) to see your queued jobs and remaining Fast time; Relax mode jobs wait longer at busy times.
- Every plan allows a limited number of queued jobs; wait for some to finish before sending more.
- If you use the Discord bot, check Discord's own status too, since Discord problems stall Midjourney jobs.
- Some prompts are blocked by moderation and never start; blocked jobs do not use credits.
